Beds and Bugs

Beauty Sleep - so imleportant and for more than just beauty.

A good circadian cycle, sleeping 8 hours+, good back support, the right amount of softness... all add upto being healthy.

So I have been in search of the perfect bed.

In India and other countries mattresses aren't made of springs, and foam and this and that. Beds are different in countries. In Asia the beds are very very firm. I found that I wake up and feel refreshed. Over here the beds are plush and so hard to leave bed, but I also realized they suck at back support.

$ vs $$ vs $$$ vs $$$$ and warranties... quality... brand names

What a load of horse shit for a bed.

A good bed is at least $1500
The big three brands - Serta, Sealy and Simmons

3 months of research and the sales people still go on with the same bullshit

So usually they can bring down the price to like $700; this isn't like going to Wal-Mart; we can haggle.
Frame, delivery,  ... This seems like a major rip off and a scam or a great business to get into to get peoples money.

So reading online reviews, most people hate all the different beds, so it seems people on leave bad reviews of their mattresses online, or they all suck.

Two sided or one-sided mattress? The conspiracy continues. The original matress factory makes the only 2 sided mattresses. They are really bad because it gives in, in the middle.
Individual pocketed springs? Apparently better than the old type, but original mattress factory will disagree. And only Simmons has mastered the single pocketed springs, Sealy is new to the trade.

Every place we go they tell us a different story. The reviews tell us a totally different story about all models. So what is the truth.

I decided sleeping on the floor in my $200 sleeping bag is a better deal!
